November 2021

November already! It started to get cold. Frank is trying to button projects outside up before winter. Primarily the beam for the front porch and the septic. November 1 - Frank did his school, Marie hung out with boys and gardened, and girls went to school. That night we went to dance and Costco. Frank also went to get a new phone because his was broken by Peter. He bought a used iPhone XS for 450. He also bought a iPhone 6 for 100. Maries iPhone screens were broken by Peter, and it cost $500 to repair front and back! It was so much, never letting the kids touch my phone again.

November 2 - we finished sealing the pump chamber. Marie did the final clean inside. Frank was too big to fit inside. Frank started to work on the trim in the washrooms.

November 3 - Frank continued to work on the trim.

November 4 - Septic tank was pumped. It is damaged at the top and Frank is going to remove the broken section and create a new lid, in that area. He wants me to go down into the tank because he’s to big and needs to secure rope under the concrete broken part, so that it doesn’t fully collapse. I hope I don’t have to go in. Here are the twins at 5 months.

November 5 - Marie and Peter cleaned up the number 2 garden. Frank pressure washed the washroom exterior siding so that Marie can start to paint it before winter. Frank also got his first COVID shot!! That night we went to Kingston as a family to get paint. I also went to Walmart to get some diapers and food for the weekend. I took Peter and Sophia with me. Peter was so EXCITED!! He was so happy. He got a transformer and Sophia picked out a locket necklace. They were both happy.

November 6 and 7 was the weekend. We started off Saturday with doing doors for the washrooms and me caulking, getting ready to paint. Sophia made us sandwiche. We stayed outside for a while. That night we made pizzas from scratch. On Sunday, I thought I woke up early - but it was daylight savings time! We went to church and then we painted a wall of the washrooms and finished vault another wall: that night we played video games as a family.

November 8-10: the days were similar. Sophia and Alice went to school. Frank worked at home and then we went to Kingston. On Monday the girls went to dance and Frank worked at the rental. On Tuesday we went to Lowe’s to pick up ceiling tiles for the church and also rollerblade in the parking lot. On Wednesday we went to pick up my phone. Peter dropped my phone and broke front and back screens. It cost 600$ to replace. Frank also dropped off his iPhone 8 and Michelle’s computer to get fixed.

November 11: Marie painted the back of the washrooms, Frank went to help the church with the ceiling tiles. At night we had Fabio and Maria and Fr. Jan for dinner. They also have five kids. Similar ages to us and they are all girls.

November 12: Frank says school is getting busy, so he catches up. In the evening he worked on the washroom door and trim.

November 13-14: we worked on the doors and trim and also made a form for the concrete pad.

The rest of the week was pretty much the same as other weeks. Except that after dance on Monday we went to Lowe’s. Then Costco was closed so we had to go back on Tuesday.

November 18: I built the rock wall in the garage. It took all day, but now it is complete.

On November 19 I did some caulking of the workshop to prepare for painting.

November 20-21: We completed the painting of the workshop. Well we tried, we ran out of paint so on Monday we had to get more.

This weekend Sophia was so excited to get Christmas stuff up! She loves to decorate. We put up my Christmas village. The twins started to reach for there feet. Peter is also starting to get pretty good at going to the potty…he gets a kinder egg…maybe that’s why??

November 25: Frank worked on getting the concrete pad ready.

November 26: was a PA Day. All kids at home! We were going to go to Ottawa but then we didn’t because Dan wasn’t going to be there.

November 27: Frank hung out with Joe. I was with the kids.

November 28: Frank stayed at home with the three oldest and I went Christmas shopping with the twins. It wasn’t too enjoyable because it was a snowstorm.

November 29: Frank really stressed Because of school.

November 30: Again Frank stressed. Marie stayed up late making advent calendars for the kids.
