February 1: harry potter 1. Frank came home late. Worked in the office. Half day because PA day. Frank morning and Marie afternoon. Went to Vietnamese food and Costco. Told from cashier how crazy it is to have three kids with me…I told her it’s a lot easier then having all 5 with me.
February 2: Kurt browning day. So tired at night. Harry Potter 2
February 3: home day. Frank did window frames.
February 4: Sophia Hockey in the morning. Afternoon was outside. Tried to go swimming, but, full. Frank went to mall instead. Marie taxes and twins at home. Twins so excited when outside, point and genuinely very excited about birds in sky or horses. Twins spilled sprinkles on ground, got vacuum as a team, plugged it in and tried to vacuum it.
February 5: went for walk in cemetery. Frank mudded library and took kids swimming, they got home quite late and probably going to sleep in.
February 6: the kids slept in. A bit. I worked from home and Frank drove them to school on his way to work. Mild stomach flu. We went skating, the girls seem to enjoy it lots, Peter doesn’t follow direction well, but, is a very fast skater. We went home and measured furniture and went to bed. Adam took forever to fall asleep.
February 7: Today I worked from home because Frank had work early. I got the kids on the bus. I lost it on Sophia because she was whining. I felt so bad all day. When we went skating that night I talked to her and took her shopping, just her and me. I think she liked it. She then opened up to me to tell me she wants her ear pierced too. So hopefully this weekend! Sophia and Alice skated and at night we practiced Sophia’s speech and then went to bed. The girls play video games too.
February 8: Today I worked in the office. No matter how hard I try to come in for 7 am, it always ends up being 7:30, every time! Frank got the kids ready in the morning l. He then came to meet at lunch and we went for a walk in the cemetery. I drove the van home picked up all the kids and went back to Kingston with them. The girls are signed up for Jazz and Tap dance. They loved it. I feel like I’m doing too much with them, but, they love it so much. I want Alice and Sophia to be better at skating so that’s why we are doing dance, to, help them. Unfortunately Peter was too small, so he had to wait with me and the twins for an hour and a half. Then Frank came took the boys to Costco and I got to enjoy watching them dance for 30min. We then went to Costco had pizza and went home to bed. Sophia did her speech today and said he knees felt wobbly the whole time and she just looked down because she was so nervous. Awwww I just want to hug her.
February 9: we had a pretty regular day. I took the kids to school and picked up the fudge order. Alice actually caught the bus, she got up at 835 and was on the bus 10min later! I’m the evening we went skating.
February 10: Alice had a skating competition in the afternoon. It was her first one. She did a spiral with Clare and Maren and they got a silver ribbon. They had a blast and she definitely wants to do another competition. Frank went to pick up a fridge for the business. It’s a nice one with glass doors. We then went to Swiss chalet - the girls, it was so fun to hang out with them. At night we watched Harry Potter 3.
February 11: Sophia had hockey this morning. I stayed a cleaned the house. Then we went to Syracuse, to the mall. We went to the mirror maze and also Wonderworks. The kids loved it, but, because we came so late we only had 3 hours, wish we had more time. We had dinner and went home. We got home late and the kids slept in the next day. It was fun.
February 12: Today was suppose to be work day but after yesterday and because Sophia is saying her speech at school, I stayed at home. It was nice to see her speak in front of her peers and teachers, she was quiet but did pretty well. She place 4th, only top 3 get to go on. She didn’t even seem nervous. She was happy we came to watch her. At home we hung out a bit and didn’t do too much. It was nice. Frank tried to do electrical but it’s hard to find time.
February 13: Today was a day that I went in the office. I’m pretty tired and finding life pretty hard right now, just feeling overwhelmed and stressed out. After work I drove to pick up SAP from school and we went skating. Alice seems a bit tired. The kids were very excited that they got Valentine’s Day cards at school and they also had shrove Tuesday at school. When we got home we had dinner and did house chores and then went to bed. Even though I’m tired I didn’t sleep and stayed up a bit on my phone, not sure why I do that! Honestly the best part of my days lately is just cuddling in bed with A and B while they fall asleep. I feel pretty disconnected from them since I don’t see them that much. I miss them, and when I do see them so much is happening that I don’t get that much hang out time with them.
February 14: Valentine’s Day! It was also Ash Wednesday. Frank forgot about Valentine’s Day. I got him some nice work gloves but he didn’t seem too impressed. It wasn’t a special day at all. I gave up meat for lentils. I really curious how I’m going to feel by become a vegetarian. We went skating the afternoon.
February 15: Today I was a bit stressed because I did a short presentation at work. I think I did okay…I never know though, nobody ever says anything. There was a snowstorm so we didn’t go to dance classes, we just stayed at home. It was kind of a nice break. We are all pretty tired.
February 16: I stayed at home today, luckily the buses were not cancelled. The snowstorm overnight wasn’t that bad. Peter stayed at home with me, we built some Meccano car. I wish I got more work done. Frank got to go to work, but, he’s feeling unmotivated, so he didn’t get any work done either. After school I took SAP skating. Me and Peter had lots of fun playing hide the hedgehog in the lobby, while Sophia and Alice skated. At night we just hung out and went to bed.
February 17: Saturday of the long weekend. When I woke up I was a bit stressed because Alice told me that she invited three friends over, and at least one is coming. So i cleaned up there room. It is always so Messy. They just seem to accumulate a lot of stuff! The person didn’t come though, James. She was so sad. I felt bad for her. Peter went to gymnastics with Babi and then when he came home, Alice and Sophia went over too and they got to paint Easter eggs and have lunch. O think it cheered her up, and my mom too because she is alone for two weeks, as my dad is travelling in Europe. I went outside with the twins and Frank. The babies ran to Babis house, so I visited her too. When we left I put the boys down for a nap. Frank did some electrical in the basement and I lacquered the front door to the house, final coat. Hopefully 4 coats per side is enough. I then made dinner, it was fun to cook - I made French bread, roasted garlic and pepper soup. I think everyone seem to like it. We watched the jungle book movie at night. The babies are a bit sick and Frank said he’s feeling a bit sick too.
February 18: Sunday, snowstorm today. Sophia went to hockey.
February 19: Frank is sick went to Destiny mall.
February 20: Tuesday, back to work! Frank is sick.
February 21: Everyone went to school and daycare today. I had to drive to Toronto for a meeting. Luckily the weather was good. It is actually really nice, plus 5! Feels like spring. My mom took the girls to skating, and Alice had her Star 1 test, she passed! Sophia passed level 6 in CanSkate! She is so excited! Star 1 and hockey for her in the new season…
February 22: I went to work today. It was a busy day. I also went to the dentist. Peter has pink eye and is coughing a lot. He stayed at home with Frank. I came home early and Frank went to work. I then took all the kids to Kingston because the girls had dance. I stayed in the car for almost two hours with the babies and Peter while I waited for the girls to finish. Then we got dinner and went home. Extra curriculars are really taking alot of my time now. I do enjoy watching the kids develop though.
February 23: Today I was at home with Peter, he is still sick. Frank went to work. The girls went to school. I did a lot of laundry and started packing them for there trip to BC. Frank came home early to cut the shelf for me, but, he didn’t it was too complicated. I took the kids skating and then they left for BC. They had a long trip ahead of them. They slept in a hotel that night. It was so quiet after they left! Me and the babies just played and cleaned and were so happy. I watched a movie and had ice cream and didn’t feel guilty!
February 24-29: The rest of the days were nice and quiet. I cleaned the house, sanded and lacquered the bathroom door and Sophia and Alice’s door. I painted the trim in Peter, Sophia, and Alice’s room. It did take some time to prep it all, but, I’m proud of myself for doing so. It actually looked pretty nice. I also went to work every day. I really worked from home because I let the babies sleep, usually they woke up around 8 and we had breakfast and they went to Heathers. It is really hard to let them go especially Adam because he just wants me to hold him the whole time and then cries when I leave. We really did bond a lot. I also let them watch tv too because they were a bit much at time. Adam loves cocomelon and Benjamin loves PJ masks. They get upset if they don’t get there show.
